Today, a significant meeting of the Dharamshala Block Congress took place, led by Ajay Verma, the State Congress General Secretary and the region's Vikas Charcha in-charge. The main objective was to devise strategies for enhancing the Congress party's presence at the booth level.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from block-level officials, party members, and booth representatives throughout the constituency. Participants exchanged valuable ideas aimed at bolstering the party's grassroots engagement.
Ajay Verma highlighted that the Congress's true power lies in its committed workforce. He urged attendees to actively promote the party's ideology among the public and suggested methods to strengthen the organization at the booth level.
“A robust booth-level framework is essential for effectively voicing the concerns of the people,” Verma remarked. He assured that all actionable suggestions from the meeting would be executed in partnership with the Block Congress to rejuvenate the organization.
Block Congress President Harbhajan Chaudhary, former Mayor Devendra Jaggi, and other senior leaders also addressed the gathering. They emphasized that unity among party workers is a vital asset that will play a crucial role in fortifying the Congress in the Dharamshala area moving forward.
Former Mayor Devendra Jaggi expressed optimism about the revitalized energy within the Dharamshala Congress. He called on every member to engage with the community and convey the party's policies and successes. “The Dharamshala Block Congress is fully equipped for the upcoming elections, aiming to raise the Congress flag at every booth,” he stated.
Harbhajan Chaudhary reiterated that every Congress member is fundamental to the party's structure. He underscored the necessity of activating the organization at the booth level and prioritizing public concerns to maintain the party's strong voice for the residents of Dharamshala.
The meeting concluded with a unified commitment from the workers to disseminate Congress’s policies and initiatives to every household at the booth level.
